2005 DICE Summit Overview

On February 1 and 2, 2005, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences held the fourth D.I.C.E. Summit. The two-day summit was held at the Green Valley Ranch and Spa in Las Vegas. Here, interactive and game industry professionals were treated to stimulating seminars hosted by some of the most revered and creative minds in the game industry and a few surprises from other entertainment fields. Speakers included: Designer and Founder of ecko unltd. Mark Ecko, Comic Legend Stan Lee, Joint CEO and Co-Executive Producer at BioWare Corp. Dr. Ray Muzyka, and Joint CEO and Co-Executive Producer at BioWare Corp Dr. Greg Zeschuk.

Celebrating another year of exciting achievements in interactive entertainment, the 2005 D.I.C.E. Summit also celebrated the Academy’s 8th Annual International Achievement Awards, hosted by Kurt Scholler and Cory Rouse. Scholler is a writer, actor and improviser who has toured nationally in the improvised show Wayne Brady and Friends. Rouse is a comedian who performs improv with ComedySportz, Company Comedy Company and Wayne Brady and Friends.
