Alejandro Marin Vidal currently leads Strategy & Insights for The Walt Disney Company's Disney Game Group (DGG). In this role, they work directly with the SVP of DGG and the GMs of the four brands (Marvel, Disney/Pixar, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century) on franchise and brand strategy as well as evaluation of new product and partnership opportunities

Additionally, in this role, Alejandro ingests and manages external market and audience research relative to gaming. In this way, they are also responsible for knowing the future of the industry across all geos and platforms and making sure the executive leadership, as well brand teams, are up to date with relevant major trends, disruptions, and new market opportunities

Prior to Disney, Alejandro ran Market Insights and Competitive Intelligence at Activision Publishing, serving a similar function across Activision titles. Previous to that role, they worked at the Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant and then Project Leader on major Strategy and Transformation initiatives. They have also acted as senior advisor to Newzoo, a guest lecturer at Cornell University, and has served on the board of two non-profits focused on empowering marginalized communities in gaming and in education. They hold a Phd in Consumer Behavior, an MBA focused in luxury brand management, new product development, and marketing, and a BA in Film Studies.
