Ted Price

Ted Price is CEO and founder of Insomniac Games, Inc. - an independent game developer with offices in Burbank, CA and Durham, NC.

Insomniac has created several high profile franchises for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 – Spyro the Dragon (PS1) , Ratchet and Clank (PS2 & PS3), and most recently Resistance (PS3).

Insomniac recently announced its first multiplatform franchise, Overstrike. As of 2011 the company has also created a new division, Insomniac Click, dedicated to developing social games.

Insomniac’s console games have sold over 36 million units worldwide since the company’s inception in 1994. Insomniac has also won numerous local, state and national workplace awards for its unique culture.

Price's responsibilities at Insomniac include directing the company's day-to-day business as well as overseeing its projects and contributing to their design. Price is also a board member and former chairman of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. He holds a degree in English from Princeton University.
