Born in Hyogo prefecture in 1967, Ryo obtained a Doctorate in Engineering from Kyoto University, specialising in signal processingand sound environnmental technology. In 2000, Ryo moved entered thevideo game arena via sound production and programming, starting withthe acclaimed hit "UmJammer Lammy". Ryo also worked closely withNanaOn-Sha's Masaya Matsuura as on the Sony robot dog Aibo'sautonomous sound system, adding ground-breaking features such asemotion and conversational abilities.
