Joe Madureira

Joe is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Vigil Games, a subsidiary of THQ Inc.  His unique visual style and art direction is a driving force behind all Vigil Games projects, including Darksiders.

Joe Madureira worked on several very successful comic book series over the last twelve years, including X-Men, his own Battle Chasers and Marvel Ultimates.  His unmistakable style of character design and visual storytelling have earned him international acclaim.  In 2001, he left the world of comics to pursue his love of games.
