Chris Cao

Chris Cao is responsible for the design direction of the upcoming DC Universe Online at Sony Online Entertainment's Austin studio, where he serves as studio creative director. His experience with MMO development spans the breadth of SOE's games, ranging from live design on the groundbreaking EverQuest (EQ) to leading the design of EverQuest II (EQ2) and Star Wars Galaxies. He was Lead Designer for the launch and first expansion of EverQuest II, and previously worked as a game designer on multiple online gaming products for VR1. An avid PC and console gamer, Chris lives and designs according to a simple philosophy: prove through play.
