Jordan Weisman has led the creation of many successful gaming worlds and systems that have become cross-media properties, including MechWarrior/BattleTech, Shadowrun, Mage Knight, HeroClix, and Crimson Skies. He has been one of the founders and chief creative officer of the following companies: FASA Corporation (1980), Virtual World Entertainment (1987 - sold to the Disney family in 1992), FASA Interactive (1995 - sold to Microsoft in 1999), and WizKids, LLC (2000 - sold to Topps, Inc. in 2003). Mr. Weisman also served as the creative director of the Microsoft Games Group from 1999 to 2002. Weisman hosted a seminar discussing "Growing Intellectual Properties for Fun and Profit." |
