(Panel Moderator) John Welch, Vice President of Games and Product at AtomShockwave Corp., is responsible for acquiring, developing and promoting interactive games and entertainment for the Shockwave.com and GameBlast brands. Welch is driven by the purpose of raising online gaming to greater mass-market appeal and commercial success. He has been with Shockwave.com since 1999. Prior to Shockwave.com, Welch spent time at Sega and with a consulting company that he co-founded. He holds Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Computer Science, the former from MIT and the latter from the University of Massachusetts. Welch moderated the panel on the future of wireless gaming. |
