The Electric Playground

A contributing writer to Business 2.0 and Entertainment Weekly, Geoff Keighley has spent the last 13 years--half his life--covering the videogame industry as a reviewer, business reporter, and television correspondant. In June 2004, he was named one of the Top 30 Business Journalists Under 30 by NewsBios/TJFR. Keighley also serves as a contributing editor to CNET's GameSpot, where he writes the acclaimed Behind the Games series of feature articles--cited by the Wall Street Journal as an example of "gaming journalism growing up." On television he is a correspondant on The Electric Playground (MTV Canada/G4) and often appears as an expert on the entertainment newsmagazine Extra (NBC). Keighley is a magna cum laude graduate in philosophy and business from the University of Southern California.

Keighley moderated the "Will Next-Gen Tools Be at the Core of the Next Wave of Great Games?" panel and the "You Don't Need a Story if You've Got a Big Gun!" panel.
