Ed Rotberg

Ed Rotberg has over 30 years of experience in the video game industry starting in January, 1979. In addition to other titles, he was the primary designer/programmer the original arcade game Battlezone, the first true, first-person 3D video game and first-person shooter. In late 1981 he co-founded Videa, Inc., which became Sente Games. 

Returning to Atari, he  worked on S.T.U.N. Runner,  “Hard Drivin,’ Steel Talons (with Ed Logg) as well as a number of other arcade games. 

After a short stint with Apple Computer, he returned to the Video Game industry to work at 3DO, Silicon Entertainment, and co-founded the independent studio, Mine Shaft Entertainment along with Rich Adam.
